Mr. Net, Expo 2000
As part of the Expo 2000 the Glass Soul project originated in Brandenburg, the aim being an installation consisting of three figures that communicate with each other through a network. Trillian realized all technical components, working closely together with the artist Jaume Plensa.
The figure is a larger-scale cast of the artist's original and consists of cast glass blocks which are glued together. Inside we installed sensors, loudspeakers, LED lights, a camera and a display which were programmed for the figure to communicate with its surroundings. If a visitor approaches, i. g. the colour of the installation changes. Besides, different noises and sounds are played.
