Train of Ideas, Hamburg
Hamburg, the European Green Capital 2011, has put its international ambassador on track: the “Train of Ideas” departs from the Altona train station in April to start a tour of 17 European cities. “Visions for Future Cities”, the interactive exhibition on board the train, presents future-oriented projects for sustainable cities in Europe. Trillian has produced a large number of the exhibits for the show.
Making a Meal
This exhibit gives visitors an impression of the amount of resources used in the production of food. After the visitor has selected a meal from a menu, the ingredients are projected onto a table top. At the same time, a screen shows how many abiotic and biotic resources, together with water, are needed to prepare the meal. This illustrates which foods are ecologically sustainable, and which foods are not.
